The Day That Evil Murdered Good

What chance exists, that fragile grace, when faced with tyranny?

That grace of freedom gifted us by those whose lives paid dearily.

When masked oppressors come to call

in guise of false protection, all

to heed a madman’s greedy call

of racial purity.

What chance have we who stand, appalled at evil acts we clearly see,

and still keep dignity?

What hope have we who wish to live in free democracy

to stand against those now in charge and all their cruelty,

when taxed beyond what’s fair or fit

while only wealthy benefit

and all the while the madman sits

In full hypocrisy?

Upon a throne of lies and fraud and false immunity

he sits for all to see.

What privilege we have at hand to stand up, as we should

against the tyrant and his gnome and all their evil brood.

By voice of protest, votes for change

or shedding light on those deranged

by false bravado in exchange

for all that’ s right and good.

So let us stand and raise a hand remembering those who’ve stood

against the traitors on the day that evil murdered Good.
